NYC! Joanna + Matthew

Today I am shooting a wedding at the beautiful Essex House Hotel in Central Park. Located in the big beating heart of NYC I am eager to capture some creative shots for Joanna and Matthew! I first met them at a friends wedding in Michigan. I am super excited to be here getting to know all their friends, family and passion for travel! This city really is a phenomenal place for such a power couple.

Wedding + Wine in Napa Valley

Waking up knowing that I will be photographing an intimate wedding at one of the worlds most exquisite champaign wineries makes me feel like I really do have the best job in the world.

Traveling out to Napa to capture Yi-Jing & Phongs wedding in wine country truly was the most fabulous. I met them 3 years ago at a friends wedding in the Cascade Mountains in Washington State. It was there we all bonded over a morning hot air balloon ride and later a white water rafting excursion. 

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from them asking if I would be there on the happiest day of their 13 year relationship! They wanted to have it in a beautiful destination they could revisit on their future anniversaries and create some special memories with their friends. What better place than Dominion Chandon!

There were to many magnificent parts of this trip to put it in one blog post...and their are entirely to many photos to post from the entire weekends events of their family and friends celebrating in Napa. So, for now here are two beautiful shots of many I will share over the next few weeks! 

Although I travel across the globe photographing, California and this experience will forever have a special place in my heart! The inspiration, setting and amazing relationships we encountered on this weekend was priceless.
